The French public transit provider Keolis has designed a MaaS system serving two major traffic corridors in the French region of Gard. The system will combine public transit, carpooling, and e-scooters. Towns along the planned routes will install carpool stations where passengers can connect with drivers, and drivers will be compensated for trips that include at least one passenger. E-scooters will be placed near carpool stations to help cover ’last mile’ needs. The rollout of the new system is scheduled for April of 2021. Read more in Dagens Industri here.
